Fun hiking spot. Quite interesting, too. Old excavation sites, Foundations of yesteryear factories, adjacent buildings, locks, water and railroad transportation of goods for trade, etc. Definitely, much can be learned historically. Always a great place to wonder around and get lost in the nature. There's plenty of trails, old structures, and wildlife to watch. It's very humbling and easy to get to. There is a slight hill from the parking lot to the bottom of the trail but nothing worrisome. Just not ideal...
