Lake Palestine — Attraction in Whitehouse

My father-in-law and I go fishing often. He loves to drive around and try out new lakes. We took my son along a few times too. Every time we have gone fishing out here, we have had an amazing trip. Catching plenty of fish, and not a lot of down time. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking in many areas. We had such a great time and continue to come back to this lake often. This is an east Texas hidden treasures beautiful and not so big that you can't find the time to see it all , the marinas in the area are very nice, and their is even fuel on the water at one. Do watch out for In coming storms, the waters can get rough quick. I've been coming here for years and there are some really nice b&b s on the southern end with the accommodations so nice you might get spoiled and decide to stay,

I live on it, absolutely love it! Great fishing, boating, swimming, skiing and just cruising around on. You do need to watch for tree stumps in the lake while boating, but as long as you are cautious you can have s terrific time. This lake is lightly used and you don't find a whole lot of boat and jet ski traffic on it like other lakes. Beautiful sceneries, lots of camp grounds on the lake, super friendly people...
