This place is fun! Trails are well marked and accurate for skill levels in my opinion. The folks that are operate this place are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The green trails range from 4-wheeler &/or beginner friendly, great for those that like a little trail riding without the danger or need a nice calm before or after some of the stressful red trails for those bouncers and large rock crawlers. The yellow trails are a really nice mix for sxs & jeeps. So if you are just beginning or if you are a very experienced driver, Twin mountains is a great place to go play whether you have never ridden the trails or out to test your mettle. There are spots with excellent views. Go play to discover them. What is the terrain like? Imagine if Disney, Ok and Fidlers Bend crossed paths. You got some serious rocky/boulder climbing areas and nice hard packed dirt, dust was super low while we were there. It was fantastic! I had an amazing bday weekend here and fully plan to make this at minimum an annual event. The park and their partners (True Grit RV park) just down the road are constantly upgrading, maintaining and cutting new trails. This is not a one time ride location. You need about three days of constant riding to hit every trail (providing you have the right rig and skill) as of right now. Come this time next year it might be 4 or 5 days. The riding fees are very low and more than worth it. I plan to be back a few times over the years. Make sure to join their Facebook group, if you ever find yourself in a situation and need aid while in the trails, you can pretty much just post there with where you are in the trails and someone in the vicinity can respond. That right there is a nice little additional safety feature, obviously not guaranteed but could come in handy if it were ever necessary.
So to recap, play at Twin Mountains (awesome trails and great owners), you can camp here (without hookups) and there are cabins. We stayed down the road at True Grit(some full hook-ups with amazing hosts), eat at Mel's (excellent food,...
