This is an amazingly tranquil place to take a relatively flat hike among the wildflowers and in the shadow of Mt. Greylock. The transfer are all loops and alternate between sweeping meadow vistas, woodland, orchards, and wildflower fields. Some parts of the trail can be a little muddy after the rain. There's also a nice orchard with a bench to have a snack with a view. You can stay on the property at two buildings but I have never done that. It's definitely worth a stop. Fantastic location just off of US-7 situated between the Taconic Range and Mt. Greylock, with trails that offer everything from wildflower-covered hayfields to mature oaken forests. Wonderful views of Mt. Greylock from multiple vantage points. On the particular day I hiked, the place was empty, and I never encountered another person on the trails.

Beautiful trustee land with great hiking trails. The trails are well marked and very flat topography so anyone can hike there. Just know that there are plenty of open field trails so can get pretty hot in the summer. Bugs can be a problem as well. Birding is great.
