
This is my favorite lake in Texas. It is very large and has great areas for water sports on south and middle lake with great fishing on the middle and north of the lake. It is usually smoother in the morning and choppier mid day and sometimes smooths out in the early evening. Higher winds (above 20 mph) sometimes create some pretty unpleasant waves. The south end of the lake has a place to park your boat so you can eat and shop on the boardwalk. I like fajita jacks on the boardwalk especially later when the sun starts going down. Do water sports on the south/middle of the lake and fish on the north end. I jet ski on the north end of the lake but I wonāt take my boat up there for water sports due to underwater...

A large lake with lots of commercial businesses along the banks and also a lot of residential and rental property. Because it's a dam the lake level stays about the same. Lots of fish and birds . It gets real busy for the holidays. they have party boats that will take you on a tour of the lake. Lots of fishing. And sightseeing. I have been here before and will come back again.
