Isham Family Farm — Attraction in Williston

I was looking to buy a Christmas tree early this year so it would be up on Thanksgiving day when my 20 month old Granddaughter comes over with her Mother. Most Christmas tree farms in the area were not opening until the Friday 'AFTER' Thanksgiving. A friend told me to try the Isham Family Farm in Williston. So I did. I met Mike Isham the owner and he was a super guy. He told me where to find the best tree, gave me a sharp saw and off I went. I found a fantastic tree and within a few minutes began my sawing. When I came back, WCAX (the local tv station)was there and they were interviewing Mike for the evening news. Both having and planning our summer wedding at Isham Family Farm were great experiences. We instantly fell in love with the property when we were planning our Vermont wedding. It is 20 minutes from downtown Burlington, has views of Mansfield and Camels Hump, and has a barn fit for a big party! We were able to visit the venue several times before the event. Completed the corn maze -- finding all the hidden signs -- in 30 minutes (but I ran half of it). Lovely pumpkins, delicious pumpkin pie, and grade c maple syrup (hard to find!). Michael and Helen, the head farmers, were working the front tables and were very friendly.
