I go every summer, and it's my favorite place, here's some comments to anyone going: The beach is nice and sandy, playground is nice, bathrooms available, no tetherball anymore which makes me sad. Fishing is good if you know what you're looking for, near the islands or downed trees is best, there's bass, pickerel and pike, and for kids fishing sunnies and perch. The large island is privately owned, but the smaller island is free to visit, wear shoes. Great place to take the kids!

It's not connected to Lake Champlain, it's clean, beautiful, peaceful, not too many people. It's shallow, which is great for kids

It's a beautiful spot, but beware if using Google Maps and if you are not familiar with the area. The first route will take you to a residential area down a private road. I made this mistake the other day, turned around, parked for one minute to figure out the correct address and a local resident verbally attacked me and started banging on my car window screaming at me to 'Get the F__k off the property'. The residents on that road are the mafia to anyone that drives down there...

Nice sized lake for kayaking. A combination of nice looking houses and also natural areas on the shore. There's a small island that I understand has an Airbnb...
