Google search, Facebook and city recommendations yielded the Frontier Museum as a place to visit. At the time of my search, two to three days prior to arriving in ND, there was NO visible indications that their tour season had ended, NO signage (per the owners response) that indicated otherwise. When I arrived the second entrance was open (first property sign directed to second entrance) and their was a group from Canada that were walking about. I took my kids here while waiting for my boyfriend to get off hitch. The tour guide, I believe his name is Darren, was super friendly, amazing with my kids and full of knowledge and interesting facts. It is an awesome way to pass some time in a not so awesome town. I was very impressed and happy with our expierence! I highly recommend going if you're in Williston with some time to kill! Thank you again for an enjoyable afternoon and memories my kids and I will...

BTW, If you just want to stop and peek through windows, be prepared to have someone stop by and ask what you are up to, as these buildings, grounds and items are treasured by...
