Natural Lands' Willisbrook Preserve — Attraction in Willistown Township

Great job improving the trail where it is often wet which leads some to walk off trail eventually widening the trail.

This very small preserve is comprised of a very thin strip of land between houses and the Greater Chester Valley Sports Association soccer complex. It then widens into to fatter sections. Mainly grasslands in the northeastern section and woods in the southeastern section.

Be sure to park at the lot near Applebrook Drive because if you park in the GCVSA parking lot you could get locked in when they lock the gate.

If you are near this preserve it is definately worth a quick hike with about 6 miles of trails in total. This preserve does not get overrun with people like Stoud, ChesLen, Binkey Lee...

I tried to park in the massive, completely empty parking lot by the soccer fields and someone driving a backhoe told me it was not allowed and made me move my car. I was advised to simply park in front of the gate and now I'm seeing you're supposed to park at a separate nearby preserve. Likewise it's a bit confusing what is the trail and what is trespassing. No one has time to get into county politics when they are just trying to take...

Nice place but unfortunately can't go above 1 star.

My dog was terrified of the gunshots and I was scared of the active hunting taking place. We saw two hunters with guns and kept hearing gunshots around us. No signs were posted warning hunting was taking place today and I was wearing a black jacket. I was even encouraged by one hunter to "hurry up."

On a much more minor note, ran into a dog off leash despite the signs saying...
