The Wildflower Wedding & Special Event Venue — Attraction in Wills Point

If you are looking for the best venue God has ever allowed on this earth... you just found it! First of all I would like to address the guy who only gave 3 stars and said The Wildflower is "Nothing spectacular"... Have you been to the venue? Have you met Kevin and Debbie? This venue and the owners are MORE than SPECTACULAR!!! They have poured their hearts and souls and countless hours into this venue and the #BESTDAYEVER of so many couples thus far. Our wedding was everything I had imagined and that is due to Kevin and Debbie and the rest of The Wildflower family! If you want the wedding of your dreams, Kevin and Debbie will make it happen. The venue is SPECTACULAR! The view is SPECTACULAR! Kevin and Debbie and the rest of the staff are SPECTACULAR!! My husband and I happened upon this venue in our search and decided to drive by without an appointment. Debbie let us in and treated us like we were family. She gave suggestions for catering and anything else I asked. I can't say enough how welcoming Kevin and Debbie were to us and how helpful they were through the entire engagement and even now after the wedding. We accidentally left with a couple of items that were theirs and they were so gracious to allow us to bring them back after our honeymoon (2 weeks later). We were invited to come back on our anniversary for a picnic at the venue. The Venue has everything you could need or want. They allow you to use whatever they have (lanterns, wagon, wood slates, etc.). The venue needs very little decoration because of how beautiful they have already made it. The bridal suite has 8 chairs for getting ready with a long mirror and so many outlets. It also has its own restroom. The grooms suite has a TV and couches for the guys to hang out. Their daughter (who was also the bartender for the night, Rachel?) came and fluffed my dress for me just as i was about to walk out because she saw that it needed it and everyone else was already walking down the aisle. Kevin and Debbie direct the guests where to go so that's one less thing you have to worry about, as well as opened the doors for me just when I was about to walk down the aisle. The helped us get a mic stand and amp outside for my husband and I to sing during our ceremony last minute. They are so much more than SPECTACULAR! The venue is a dream and booking with them was one of the best decision we made through the wedding planning process. We are so thankful for Kevin and Debbie for all that they did throughout the entire process. They truly care about every person who walks through their doors. Although this place is nice for a wedding, do not go to this venue if you plan on drinking!! They had a female officer on duty that appeared to many as if she had some type of chip on her shoulder. No one was causing any problems but her!!!. She was zoned in on my husband during the whole reception. At one point he was outside asking a couple to come in and dance and she was standing right behind him asking, “Is there a problem!?” She continued to follow him. When he came back in and started dancing she went up behind him again and said, “Is there a problem!?” As if she was just trying to provoke him into doing something. When he decided it’s time to leave he goes to the mens dressing room. When I made my way to the mens dressing area to see what was going on, the cop then followed ME into the mens dressing area as my husband was standing there changing!! Who does that!? She did not care even after I told her we were leaving and he was standing there half dressed apologizing!! He did nothing wrong, and hello he’s changing clothes!!! When I mentioned to her that we will not refer this venue to anyone the owner started screaming for me to get out! We will NEVER be back!! Nor will I ever refer anyone to this place!! She told the brides father that she “knew my husband was trouble.” And anyone that knows him knows he wouldn’t hurt a fly! Don’t go to this venue and serve alcohol!! You will thank me later. There is another review on here advising of the same. I have been to many weddings in my life that served alcohol with 0 problems!! We have NEVER experienced anything like this!! My husband and I got married at The Wildflower on March 7th of 2020 (yes, right before the pandemic shut the US down) and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!

The owners, Debbie and Kevin, were seriously so amazing and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. Aside from the venue itself being beautiful, Debbie and Kevin were a HUGE part of the reason we booked this venue. During our tour they were so kind and made sure to answer every single question we had. They didn't rush us through the process and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. My husband and I had gone on tours at other venues and we just weren't met with the same hospitality and authenticity as we were at The Wildflower. We actually canceled tours at other venues after touring at The Wildflower because we loved it so much!

Debbie was very hands on the day of the wedding too, just trying to make sure we had everything we could possibly need! She offered to help in a multitude of ways that seriously goes above and beyond the role of a venue owner. Her and her team even helped my family clean up and load everything at the end of the evening when my planner left before she was supposed to.
