Wilson Rose Garden — Attraction in Wilson

While in Wilson I brought my better half to the Wilson Rose Garden. It was a last second decision that I did not tell her about. I had accidentally stumbled upon it, through a search and thought she would love the place.

It's a nice little garden that you can stroll through that has an assortment of roses. The grounds has arches, statues and a water fountain. It also has a restored whirligig. I think it would be the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures. I used the moment to take some portraits of her.

It's only downfall is it's lack of shade that doesn't help prevent the wilting of the roses. That same lack a shade also make it hard to enjoy the gardens when the sun and heat is at its peak.

Regardless, it's a great place to bring any flower lover. She enjoyed herself and I definitely would...

This is a rose garden. I still haven't managed to visit when it was at its peak as far as the roses and blooming. From what I have seen here, it seems to be a nice place. You could rent it for an event if you'd like. I'd still like to see it at the peak of the rose blooms. This is just one of the interesting places that you can visit...

Beautiful place, and full of different varieties of roses! A treasure of a find after passing by --discovering area. Would have liked to have seen a natural rock formation with roses and maybe a lively and lovely spiral twirly creation, from a great artist of the area, also a few bird houses would have been nice hanging in nearby...
