Phillip R. Wright Community Park — Attraction in Wilsons Mills

I love this park its right by my house ! HOWEVER please stop bringing aggressive  dogs to the park . It was a black and white pretty sure it was a border collie dog . It was leashed for a minute.They let it go once I put my leash up pup in the car . My son ran over by the bathrooms and the the dog stood in from of him and growled.  Once I grabbed up my son they started to put it back on the leash and I commented "not friendly huh" and they said no she's nice 😒 apparently not to people she doesn't know . Cute playground on grounds that are well-maintained. It seemed pretty new, actually. We could've spent an entire afternoon there and picnicked for lunch if not for the lack of shade. It's funny- there are two tables adjacent to the playground, but they're out in the direct sun. So, stopping by the tables for snacks and a drink didn't actually provide any respite for our kiddo on a very HOT and sunny day. Only one small portion of the playground does sit under a sun shade, actually. This will be an early evening stop for us in the future so that the sun...

Very cool modern playground equipment. Looks to be brand new. The playground has multiple spiderweb rope climbing features. The rest of the park and all of the playground is out in total sun with no shading so, on a hot day it is scorching hot out there. Woulda been nice had they built the playground next to the tree line of the park property instead of right out in the open, but it’s still a sweet playground! No landscaping at all at this park….kinda looks as if they ran out of money and then just stopped working on the park one day… Excellent...
