The Homestead at Little Creek — Attraction in Wilsons Mills

The Homestead at Little Creek 100% deserves a 5 Star! I am a first grade teacher and we recently had an in-house educational visit from the Homestead at Little Creek. Megan was wonderful to work with when choosing the stations that aligned with our curriculum standards. She is very kind, knowledgeable and reliable.

Our students had the opportunity to learn about farm life, planting from seeds and the life cycle of a chicken. They brought chicks, an incubator and candled a few eggs so the kids could see an embryo growing inside. This was amazing!!! 🐣

Jeff set up an enclosure outside for the animals and the children were thrilled to interact with their sweet and gentle animals. For some, this was their first time petting an animal. 🐐

Megan brought seeds & pretty planters for each child to grow their own flowers. About 3-10 days after the visit, the seeds began to sprout and the excitement from the children was priceless! Megan also gave each child a carrier to safely get their plants home. She created a personalized flyer to send home with each child after our visit, as well as detailed instructions on how to care for the new seedlings. 🌺

I cannot praise The Homestead and its wonderful owner, Megan, enough! While helping my son find a unique gift for his girlfriend, I stumbled across their incredible Goat Grams—and I was immediately intrigued. It turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable surprise!

Megan went above and beyond, capturing the special moment with photos and a video of her opening the door to find a stunning bouquet of flowers from their flower farm and two adorable baby goats! The pure joy on her face was priceless. Her mom even sent me multiple messages, calling it “the best birthday surprise” they’ve ever experienced—the entire family loved it!

I had a bit of a "mom brain" moment, but Megan’s kindness and dedication saved the day. She worked tirelessly with me to correct my mistake and ensured the surprise went off without a hitch. Her efforts made this delivery truly special.

I can’t wait to visit the farm myself and enjoy all the other fantastic experiences they offer, like goat yoga, flower picking, glamping, and, of course, meeting the infamous Oscar.

I got to say I told these guys I would give them the absolute best review and man I hope it lives up to that. So I pulled up to this place I believe on a Thursday and immediately Jeff one of the owners came out to see if he could help me in anyway and I ran by him I needed a private place for a wedding ceremony last minute lol. But he was so supportive and helpful he even added extra added touches to the ceremony with music and lighting. Look I’m not saying having a small wedding is everyone’s cup of tea but if your looking for a private spot to have a event or dinner party or birthday party or whatever these guys are definitely a awesome choice.
