The Preserve at Canyon Lake — Attraction in Wimberley

The perfect venue for the perfect day! We got married here in February, and it was absolutely amazing. I first discovered The Preserve on Instagram and TikTok back in 2021—way before I was even engaged—and I knew right then it was my dream venue. So when the time came, touring it was a no-brainer.

When it comes to pricing, we felt it was incredibly fair for everything included, especially compared to other venues we toured. Honestly, it was worth every penny. The venue itself is breathtaking—so much natural light, peaceful surroundings, and so many stunning spots for photos. The chapel and ballroom both had the most beautiful lighting, and the bridal suite was perfect—so spacious and ideal for getting ready with friends. There’s not a single part of this property that isn’t picture-perfect!

The staff—Devin, Jordan, and Peyton—were incredible. They were so welcoming, helpful, and patient throughout the entire process, letting me tour multiple times and checking in regularly during wedding planning. They handled communication with my vendors seamlessly and truly made everything so smooth.

We also chose one of the bar packages for our open bar, and it was a hit! Guests raved about the drinks, and there was never a long wait, which was such a plus.

Everything about this venue is elegant and beautiful. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved it, and we are so happy we chose The Preserve for our wedding. If we could do it all over again, we absolutely would!

This venue is BEAUTIFUL. From the moment I booked in 2021 to now i’ve been in love. The bridal suite is HUGE and fit 15 of my girls and I. The grooms suite is a little small but they hung out outside and by the bar as well. They set up our tables & chairs for both the ceremony and reception for us before hand and because our wedding was on a Thursday, we were able leave our stuff and partially set up after rehearsal on Wednesday. Devin was amazing to connect with and made sure I had everything to make my day perfect. My guest raved about how beautiful the venue was, how clean everything was and how fast the bar service was! At this venue you can bring all vendors but the bar service has to be through them, and they must buy all the alcohol. That made it so much more expensive than expected. We had a partially open bar through them, we paid for wine, beer & three signature cocktails that were supposed to last from 6-8, and a margarita machine all night. Cocktails were gone by 7… and we considered paying more, but the bartender honestly advised us not too, and said people were paying for cocktails and beer & wine was still plentiful, which I truly appreciated her doing that instead of just letting us spend more money. Pro tip: if you go for a partial open or cash bar, set up a tab for yourself and your partner at least. We did and made sure we had drinks flowing all night (so did the bar, they brought us drinks in beautiful glasses all night) ❤️ this venue was truly a dream...

I can't say enough about this gorgeous venue and the husband and wife team who created it. Our daughter and her husband had the wedding of their dreams! The proprietors, Devin and Jordan, are amazing. They worked with us, listened to our wants/needs, and stayed in constant communication. They make the bride and groom a priority on their special day; everything from having their own well-appointed (super spacious) suites to serving beverages to checking on them and the entire bridal party throughout the day. Devin and Jordan's kindness, willingness to accommodate us, and their attention to detail is impeccable. As for the venue, The Preserve is nothing short of visually stunning. It is super spacious and very well laid out. The architecture is timeless and classic and is perfectly arranged so that there is a seamless transition from the chapel to the reception area. There was plenty of "designated space" for live music, a DJ, a photo booth, and a dance floor. There is a large built-in bar/beverage & kitchen area and plenty of room throughout for other misc. tables/sections for things such as the cake, wedding favors, memorial table, gifts/cards, etc. Devin and Jordan were a joy to work with and if you want a beautiful venue and a team that puts clients first, then I highly recommend The Preserve at Canyon Lake.
