Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Area is part of the Birch Hill Flood Control and floods when the dam is closed and holding backwater. Look closely at the photos I am posting. You can see the high water marks on the trees. The Likens on the trees die when flooded and submerged. It is more prevalent out back around Millers River and Preast Brook. Yes that is a lot of footage above average normal water height. Max back watters is about 30 feet above Lake Dennerson. Look closely at the little pavilion roof the high water marks are just underneath the roof eaves.
Enjoy your time out there.

The main beach had 3 life gaurs and they did tell us until after we had gone into the water that there was bacteria issues. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this trip and we arw planing to go elsewhere for next year because of it. Photos show when they signed off on the bathrooms and the safe to swim flag on...

My phone was stuck in a loop of turning off and on every time I touched the app. We were 30 minutes away from the end of the parking hours, so I had to just risk it. Scared...
