Stop one on our mini road trip did not disappoint. The Randolph County Infirmary & Asylum is a captivating blend of history and hauntings, making it an unforgettable destination for thrill-seekers and history buffs alike. The imposing brick building, with its stoic presence atop a limestone foundation from the 1850s, sets the stage for an exploration into the unknown. Our guide and historian, Ted, was nothing short of amazing. His wealth of knowledge and captivating storytelling, coupled with his resilience and spirit, truly enhanced our experience. Ted's personal relationships with the spirits that inhabit the building added another layer of intrigue to our tour. From the tragic tale of Ida Grunkel to the authoritative presence of The Judge, each entity has a story to tell. Our encounter with the Spirit Talker app in the attic left us with an unexpected message, leaving us pondering its implications. Throughout our exploration, we felt a sense of unease and curiosity, driven by the desire for answers to the mysteries that lie within these walls.

Ted's illumination of the dark history, including chilling reminders of past hardships, added depth to our understanding of this hauntingly beautiful place. And let's not forget Doris, whose gentle spirit and culinary skills continue to leave a lasting impression. Whether you're seeking history, thrills, or both, the Randolph County Infirmary & Asylum promises an unforgettable journey into the...

This was my second visit to Randolph County Infirmary. This location never fails to disappoint! While the location is very active, I haven't ever felt anything negative. In fact it feels very welcoming, almost cozy in parts of the building. This trip was definitely met with some significant challenges. We came from out of state and had car trouble 30 minutes from the location. Luckily, we had another part of our team in a different car and managed to get to the location just fine. Thank you to Meyer's towing for being great, also D&M automotive for answering our call for service even though they were closed. We found out it will take a few days to discover what's wrong with the vehicle. We rented a car in muncie, and attempted for hours to locate Uber or a cab to get us there. We were essentially stranded at the Infirmary. A huge thank you to the owner for being so understanding of our situation! An even bigger thank you for assisting us to get to muncie and ensuring we were safely on our way! You didn't have to go that extra mile and it is appreciated more than you will ever know. Not only did we get to muncie but we also heard a lot of stories and experiences that we would have never heard if that hadn't happened. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for an amazing location to investigate, the love you put into these locations, the history you want to maintain, but for ensuring 3 crazy ladies made it...

My friend and I have been on several ghost hunts and decided to book an overnight tour and bring our adult children along since they were showing interest in what we were doing. We all had such an amazing time. Our tour guide Ted, was funny, informative and just an all around pleasure to talk with. He gave us some advice on how to contact a certain music loving gentleman, and our rempod went crazy! Our girls had some interaction with little Noah, which they both loved. And my son had alot of interaction with Ida, as well as the gentleman in the basement. (Someone please get that man a hammer, he asked for one dozens of times and we were not able to accommodate) we also got some amazing pictures. For anyone thinking of booking a trip, I would highly recommend Randolph. All of us have decided that we will be making a return trip a.s.a.p. Thank you so much for such a...

Here’s the prison cell at Randolph County Infirmary. It’s an interesting feature. Yeah, interesting… And the listing lodgings are nice. The place is still pretty #hauntedtiktok , so that’s cool. #hauntings #paranormal #paranormalinvestigation #paranormalactivity #ghost

this was my first ghost hunt at Randolph County Infirmary/Asylum. And let me tell you, this is an absolute must visit! Everything about this experience was so surreal and exciting. I’m usually a scaredy cat but with this, i was having the absolute time of my life, doing things I’ve always wanted to do! And using certain equipment I’ve never got to use before. I loved learning about the history behind the place, the stories of the people who once called this place home and the amazing story telling skills of the historian guy. Im definitely coming back one day, that was an experience I’d love to have again! #ghosthunting #asylum #paranormal #fyp #indiana
