Farrington City Park — Attraction in Windsor

An excellent small town park. Very well maintained. There is a great walking trail, playground, tennis, BB and volleyball. Nice shelterhouses to have all kinds of gatherings. Have different kinds of activities on holidays and throughout the season. The lake offers decent fishing for high pressure body of water. Conservation maintains it well. Park caretaker has maintained the park and camping area and keeps it picturesque at all times. People of Windsor are lucky. Just posted a pic I took Sun. morning of a bald eagle perched in the tree. He (or she) bussed the lake several times but no luck. Me and that eagle had alot in common...

Love it here!!! Ive never been to a park/lake where you could reserve a shelter for events and it be free without even a mention of donstions are accepted. I got a super sweet, 'We really hope you guys get to enjoy yourselves and your son has a wonderful and blessed birthday!! God Bless!' They keep up with it and it has never looked overgrown or not maintained. Recommend to any and all!! And i also recommend you do as we did, slip a thank you donation check into their mailbox! Cause a beautiful place like that doesnt come at a cheap price and they do...

Beautiful and very well kept , 8 RV spots, tent camping, nice clean showers with pin code lock. Very peaceful and quiet. Playground for kids with merry-go-round, swings, wooden play sets, basketball court, walking trails, disc golf, plenty of picnic tables. Very nice Pavillion. Lots of plug-ins and water spickets. Plenty of shade trees. Nice pond for fishing. Gloria is the sweetest and so friendly. Definitely worth staying or just stopping by for the kids to play or to unwind...
