I’d give 50 stars if I could and happy to tell anyone who will listen what a fabulous experience I had yesterday at Gracianna! Fernando is a joy of a wine host and human! He was by himself in the tasting room, beyond busy with a couple large parties and multiple smaller groups, yet took such good care of us - checking in with more wine at just the right moment, a fresh carafe of water, little snippets of stories about the winery and its history, personal anecdotes, all the right things to make an amazing experience. He’s the Tasting Room Manager, and manages it all with such grace, humor and passion for the wines and what he does! I work in the wine industry and am hard to impress (with wines or experiences) - consider me impressed and blown away! The wines are phenomenal, their Pinots are swoon-worthy, Fernando is a treasure, and the setting at Gracianna is a slice of heaven! We’re blessed with a million tasting rooms and an abundance of good wine in our area, but it takes people like Fernando, places like Gracianna, and wines like their Pinot Noir to remind us how to stand out! (Oh and their Rosè and Cab Sauv were...
Read moreNot only did we thoroughly enjoy the wines here (especially the rose, which shocked me, and the pinot noir, which shocked my husband), but we loved the PLACE. We ended up spending two (three?) blissful hours sitting in Adirondack chairs in their vineyard with a pretty little table set between us and Amanda, Lisa and Trinny bringing out bottles of wine to pour and chilled bottles of water to leave at our table. Dog Sadie ambled up for a relaxed hello, her tail swishing lazily in the heat. Our previous tasting that day lasted 45 minutes start to finish. I'm there to taste wine, I know what I like, boom boom, get in get out. And then we showed up at Graciana and the the day just melted into this lovely golden relaxed afternoon. Another couple who arrived a while after we did had stopped somewhere to get picnic food. Brilliant idea. It was their second time at Graciana, their first time being the day before! Everything about this place is lovely. The building, the wine and the people. Go go go. Give yourself a couple hours and bring...
Read moreOur first stop of the day was this amazing place called Gracianna (Thank you “Jersey Tom” our tour guide, book him)! The grounds are beautiful, but the staff and owner, Trini make this place magical….and I’m a magician.
You can tell from the ground up, that everyone truly cares about their philosophy on wine and more importantly about having meaning to everything you do in life. Every little detail on their property has a heartfelt meaning about their family.
Trini was gracious enough to give us insight to the history of his family, his great grandmother, which is what the winery is named after, Gracianna.
I would highly recommend making this a destination stop while visiting Sonoma.
Trini,
My mom, Amy, and myself thank you for taking the time and sharing your wonderful family...
