The playground is terrific for kids. It is not Lemon Lake playground, but it is a top notch park. The perimeter trail is a hidden gem and well worth the trek. Sections of it stay muddy in the most dry of times, so wear appropriate footwear. The western portion of the trail is a bit more scenic as you trek through many hills left over by the glaciers. The eastern portion is flat and skirts the back road that borders the park and then through woods that are full of brush and briars. I've seen many more deer on the eastern side in the woods during the day.

This was my first time visiting. Definitely pretty with plenty to do. There was so much space, I just followed while the dog wandered and explored. Creek was completely dried up but there were a few people fishing in the pond--and according to the trail map, there's two other ponds on the property, back in the woods. It's 40 minutes from my house so not sure we'll visit it again soon, but if you're looking for a quiet place to fish or let the kids play (playground was big) or have a picnic, it's definitely worth going.

We were hesitant to visit this Park because of a few negative reviews. I'm glad we decided to go, and make our own opinion. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty. Yes, flowers were absent where they used to be, (this is our 1st time here and we saw pictures of flowers in older posts) but it was still very nice. Loved our walk, so did our dog. We will visit often. The only down fall was the womans bathroom was VERY dirty. That's the reason for 4 stars.

The Vietnam Memorial at Stoney Run use to be so pretty, it's a shame how, it was just let go, dead flowers everywhere, vines of weeds

everywhere. I, as a family member who's brother is listed on the Memorial, just wanted to cry, when I saw what it look like now, and what it did look like in the past, such a shame. This is how our heroes are treated? I hope no other family members go there to honor their loved one and be as disappointed as I was. The little pond is nowa pretty shade of green and of course the ducks are gone. WHAT a SHAME ! In closing, I was treated very rudely by a staff member of the park. Again, what a crying shame that over fifty years later, our fallen heroes are all...

Nice playground but no big kid swings. Has great off road trails for beginners. Our school age kiddos rode the perimeter trail for the first time and did great! A bit muddy after the rain last week, but doesn't deter from a great review. This park is relaxing and quite quiet. It's a nice out-of-the way park. Disgusting outhouse, though. So be sure to use a bathroom before coming here. Some of the equipment needs to be maintained. There is a lot of wear but the playground is still fun. I hope that whoever is in charge of maintenance is able to keep up with it and fix...
