Not bad for our first camping as a family. $20 fee + $8 for the reservation. Reserve your spot online. You may also do first come first serve and save $8 during weekdays. This is a very quirt place, well maintained. It has a drinking water source, toilet, no shower. You may request for a firewood from the host. If you want to save space in your car there is a hardware that is 15 mins away from the camp ground (Aubuchonn Hardware). Perishables / groceries? There is a Price Chopper where you can buy your food, ingredients, charcoal for you bbq. Definitely bring insect repellant. It's also not bad to bring extra tarpauline cover for your dining area, in case the weather gets unpredictable.

A quiet, serene campground by an even peaceful pond. Spent a weekend at the pond. Great for stargazing at night and even has a nice trail that loops the whole pond. Swimming area with plenty of picnic tables and grills to cook on. You can even by a day pass if you just want to swim and hang out. Will definitely recommend and I probably will go back! Close to some shopping but also far enough in to the GMNF where you feel isolated by nature. All sorts of wildlife here, from frogs to salamanders in the woods and several species of birds. Great place for nature lovers!

Nothing special itself, but very quiet and peaceful. My family enjoyed this beautiful place with October foliage.

One of the best campgrounds that I've ever been to. I'll freely admit that some of my opinion may be bound up in nostalgia, but this place is fantastic. Well spaced sites, drinking water available at taps, clean restrooms, excellent hiking as well as easy accessibility to a wide range of nearby attractions. No site hookups for electric and sewage, but that's not a bad thing as far as my...
