Rattlesnake Bike Park — Attraction in Winnsboro

I've been here 3 times now. An hour drive from Charlotte, closer then any other vertical bike park with a shuttle. Great mix of green, blue, black trails. Haven't hit all the blacks, but all the green, blue are well thought out and maintained. Two shuttles moving people and bikes up, never more than a few minutes wait at the bottom. We met the owner, Jason, today and he said they were planning on an additional 10 trails next year. The current offering is already great so adding an additional 10 will make this a no brainer destination for Charlotte based folks. Haven't tried yet, but they have food available (pizza, dogs, chicken) up top and plenty of seating if you bring your own lunch. This is a huge add to Charlotte area downhill/MTB community and also friendly to newbies while having some serious black runs! Can't wait to go...

Solid new bike park. Shuttle was fast, facilities were solid, employees were awesome, trails were well maintained, and the Rattlesnake Bike Park swag is badass.

From green to black, the trails were a blast, however, I feel like there’s probably a lot of appetite for more progressive trails. Maybe a few more greens and blues would bring more people from South Carolina, specifically in the Columbia area, into the sport of Mountain Biking if they had more progressive trails to ride...

Fun bike park. Love that it’s only 45 min from my home, just south of Charlotte. Good variety of trails (beginner to expert) and frequent shuttles. Cool hang out spot at the top to rest & grab a bite. Suggestion would be to add some tables and chairs to hang out at the bottom as well, and also a place to refill water bottles. Trails seemed to be in a bit rougher condition since my first visit, but hey…it is mountain...
