An amazing positive place that leaves you smiling. Safe, friendly, affordable, fun obstacle courses in the trees. There is an obstacle playground course for the younger children, it looks so fun my teens wanted to go on it but they are too big. There are two areas. One area has 3 obstacle courses with many challenges and zip lines; plus a dodge ball pit with a net under it in the trees. The second area has longer zip lines and a ninja course with a net under it. The boys had a blast. This is not a one and done course! They were able to go multiple times in the 3 hours. My 7 year old granddaughter was more timid but she completed all the courses (with a little help) and built confidence while having a lot of fun. She wants to go again. The equipment is well maintained and I was able to see the children the entire time by walking in the designated area to observe that allows full view of the areas. The staff is attentive, competent, friendly and very patient. They gave instruction to help and then if that did not work they went to actually assist. This allowed for the participant to learn but not have too much anxiety. The owner has a positive encouraging attitude that energized the teens and helped the younger one feel confident. He juggled the schedule of two groups to allow us to come at an off time because our Spring break is at a different time and we do not live locally. My group cannot stop talking about how much fun they had, we will be back during the summer!! Thank you...
Read moreThe course is super fun. Impeccably neat and clean; challenging but not impossible; relaxing but invigorating ambience. The obstacles are thrilling but perfectly safe. If you've done zipline courses with carabiners, forget about that. This equipment is far safer and easier.
The service is superb. Before we drove 2 hours, the operators contacted us personally to let us know the forecast called for rain. They gave us a couple of options. Once there, they trained us professionally and did everything necessary to facilitate our good time. Regarding the service, my son called it the "chic-fil-a of zip lining". For my family, that's as strong as a compliment gets.
The drive is easy: 4 lane highway all the way.
If I hadn't driven myself, I'd have thought I was playing in the smoky mountains.
I give Old Mountain Outdoor Adventures my highest...
Read moreVisited with some friends from Columbus AFB. Had lots of fun. Despite the hot, humid Mississippi summer heat, the course was well shaded and the periodic zip lines helped provide a cooling breeze. Had some doubts before coming but the operation is very safe and as something that is largely self-led, it’s just a lot of fun with a group of friends/family. Host treated us to a popsicle at the end, as we were clearly beat from the heat, but honestly could recommend to anyone looking for something fun/outdoorsy to do in this part of the state. The whole thing did take us about two hours to do all three levels plus the additional part with the “free fall,” so plan...
