The trails at Bethabara offer a unique look into the flora of our region, mixed with a touch of history along the way. From the marsh with floating docks to several trails that allow exploration around the area, you’ll find a mix of paved and dirt trails that lead to beautiful trees and native plants. During regular hours, the visitors center offers great facilities and knowledge to guide you based on what you’d like to explore. And special events throughout the year offer opportunities to interact with people in period costumes and demonstrations of things as varied as blacksmithing and weaving. A great way this area honors the Moravian history of its heritage. Biggest challenge can be finding proper parking when you are not yet familiar with the park and various trails and features.

Absolutely Gorgeous. You have to park by a pre school and walk on the side of the road to get to entrance. Its best to go when the school is closed. Also the bridge is very rickety and railings have fallen off. Be careful.

Beautiful historical sight to checkout. I really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet it was. It’s also dog friendly except pups not allowed in visitor center.

Amazing watershed with a pier that extends over the water. Wildlife abounds but beware, doing an intense rain, Reynolda Road floods for a dangerous situation, so drive carefully under those circumstances. Recent re-development has created a walking patch on the east side...
