Salem Lake Playground — Attraction in Winston-Salem

Would give 5 stars but the bikers who use the trail are awful. They go way too fast and don't care that the majority of people on the trail are walkers and have dogs. If bikers weren't allowed it would be so much better. Since they have done their construction there is more parking. Would be better too of they provided more trash cans along the trail since people can't seem to hold their trash the one mile between trash cans. I will say that the dog walkers do a good job cleaning up after their dogs. There are bike trails in the woods but it's hard to tell which way they are going. They are nice to walk though if you don't mind possibly...

We love this place I used to come when I was a child with my parents, now I’ll bring my own two boys to this wonderful peaceful place here. They did a nice job with the playground and trails. they also have a bike that you can rent. We like to come right before sunset and feed the ducks. I wish they were more picnic tables or more chairs to sit. Every time we come we have to stand up because they’re occupied by other visitors. I believe there’s only two picnic tables picnic tables. The shade is really good they’re surrounded by trees so you don’t have to worry...

Love coming here with the family. I love it just as much as the kids, especially the walking trail, & feeding the geese and ducks! And now the leaves are changing color, coz now it's fall! 👍👍

Update: it's almost summer and the weather is prefect. I've been coming by myself here to run on the trail, and I love it. It's very long, and wide. It does get a little bumpy after ~1.2 miles, on a hill, but then it's smooth and nice again. It's now my favorite place...
