The playground: the equipment is nice and new. I really think the nest swing is cool. I am a bit confused as to why they chose to put so much concrete between the play structures and so much landscaping in and around the play area. It means very structured play & the kids can't really run around. Play is limited to the play equipment only. No safely playing tag, duck duck goose, running from one piece of equipment to the next because of the concrete & of course the kids are drawn to nature (the landscaping) which is mixed right into the area & of course they can't play in it - there are many signs saying so. There are baseball fields, basketball courts, a walking track(gravel), volleyball, playground, pavilion, horseshoes and more. Kids love the play area, and there are nice climbing trees near the walking path to entertain them as well. Bathrooms are clean and feel safe compared to other county/city parks.
