We took a boat tour from Lake Maitland Park and this is a beautiful lake surrounded by grand houses similar to the Great Gatsby. The trees surrounding the lake has stood there for ages looked grand and majestic. The boat tour was smooth and relaxing. We did not see any gators (thankfully!). Orlando takes care of their environment well and it was a blessing for us to enjoy it. If you're looking to see how it feels/look like to live in Florida, take a boat tour around Lake Maitland.

So much fun to take our 13 foot Boston Whaler out on Lake Maitland! There are small canals connecting to other smaller lakes. It is a fun scenic and generally smooth ride! Dog Island is in the middle and a cool place to check out for a couple of minutes. There is a lot of trash and broken glass on the island so don’t...
