Holy Cow Farm Fresh — Attraction in Wolcott

Well, I apparently ordered the ultimate steak bundle instead of the 100% variety bundle that I thought I was ordering so instead of paying approximately $9.50 lb. I ended up paying $21.50 lb!!! Or $419.25, Some of it can be attributed to my age of 91 I guess. I didn’t find out until later that I was entitled to a 10% military discount so when I asked for the $41.25 discount I was told the only way I could get it was to make another purchase. So I thought well, I can go into their store and pick up $50 worth of product and apply my discount of $41.25 from my previous order and $5 for this order so then I would just owe $3.75 out of the $50. I was told they couldn’t return it to my credit card because it was too expensive for them. I have returned product to Lowe’s and Amazon without any questions so I don’t know what it is with them. So what I decided to do was just not to be a customer of Holy Cow anymore and I will just eat the discount, so be it, I can get grass fed beef at other farms.

Well, Holy Cow went above and beyond to rectify my complaint and I very much appreciate it, so I will have to give them a five star rating for that and they have kept me as a very satisfied customer, yep I will purchase from them again. ...

My family ordered a pig from Holy Cow. This is the toughest meat (pork) we have ever bought. The pork steaks you can’t chew. The pork chops have to be done in a pressure cooker to make them tender. Can’t cook out on grill because of toughness. The bacon was the only good part of the pig. I would never buy from them again! Expensive and just terrible. We feel like loading up the meat and taking it back. Let them try to eat it.

Holy Farm called me this morning and they were very pleasant and apologized for the quality of pork we received. I am receiving a refund. I have bought chicken and some beef products from them before, of highest quality. Very sincere and would definitely buy from them again at their small store on the farm. We just happened to...

Nice decorative wood interior, price for 1 pound of Ribeye Steak is at least $24. I do understand that it's grass fed, but a little too expensive for us, we took a look in the discount freezer but everything in there was not good looking, like a ugly looking Turkey. I definitely recommend this place for fresh meat, especially healthy meat, less preservatives. We were recommended by someone to come here, and the owner of the place was super nice, and had a good conversation with us about his farm. Most of the meats here are raised on the farm, and the farm is where the store is at! They will also deliver to the Northwest Indiana area as well. I would recommend this place if you would want to spend a little extra money. Thanks Holy Cow Farm...
