I came here to kayak and explore the area. The parking lot on Scovill road is a dirt/gravel lot with enough space for say 20 cars. There is a small boat launch and a walking path along the perimeter of the lake. The actual kayaking was not that enjoyable, half of the entire shoreline starting from the boat launch and going counterclockwise is boulders and shallow water so its not really possible to get close to that shoreline and i was constantly hitting bottom and rocks that were sticking almost up to the surface. The water was really shallow that even 100 feet from shore in some places i was scraping bottom. There is much more area than I expected that was less than 2 feet deep.
