The Schmid Family Farm — Attraction in Woodburn

My friend goes to this farm with her family every year for the blueberries. I visited today for the first time and had a great experience picking blueberries plus blackberries. Marionberries were out - their picking season ends sooner so check in advance. Wonderful, friendly owners/staff, easy access to the berries from parking, clean port-a-potty available with a hand washing station near by. Good prices. Go early in the morning (they open at 9am) to avoid heat. Also starting early August (this month) things start slowing down and the bees start coming so they recommend calling ahead to make appointment to ensure staff...

The folks that run the place are so sweet! My friends and I came here on the last day of blueberry picking season and got a delicious haul. Prices and quality are more than excellent. I simply must make it in time for the marionberries next time, as these were long gone. We definitely will...
