Peaceful trails. I’ve come here many times and it never disappoints. Dogs love it. The white/red/blue trails are marked fairly well and offer lots of options for long or shorter hikes. For some reason the yellow trail becomes very dense along the bog and I lose confidence I’m going the right way and end up backing out. It’s a bit buggy (mosquitoes) so bring a good bug repellent. Trails are easy/moderate. Just enough elevation on some of the trails to get the heart pumping with a brisk walk, but that’s all relative. Read moreA good nature preserve. Has both short trails and long multiple hour long loops. Only complaint is that it’s very easy to get turned around and the place could use a couple more maps. But that’s nitpicking this place has Beautiful scenery, plenty of bogs and springs. Also a good view of an isolated section of lake quassipaug.
