Woodcock Lake Park — Attraction in Woodcock Township

We were in the area looking for places to photograph Autumn leaves and hoping to find bodies of water, streams or maybe waterfalls to enhance the setting of the leaves. We saw this Park on Google maps. When we drove down into the park I followed the arrows pointing out what I thought was the way to the water. Another road was closed off. As it turned out I ended up in a rather large parking lot. I'm guessing that this might be a good place to set up your camper for some time...

The campsites were nice. BEWARE THEY ONLY TAKE CASH NO CREDIT CARDS, It was a nice stay but there were kids that went through my stuff. Talking to another camper they wonder around the campground and go through people's belongings. I guess they have been reported in the pass and there has been nothing done. The kids belong to a family in a camper in the site just to the right as you pull in the campground. BEWARE Don't leave stuff...

Large ramp for boats and kayaks with lots of parking. The beach and boating are free! The beach: If you go in the morning, the beach is empty. It opens at 9. There are bathrooms, but don't push your luck. Nice playground, plus garbage cans. It's nice, sandy, clean (watch out for goose poop!), Big swimming area. No guards, no...
