Plenty of parking along road; not many potholes. A few nice campsites close by with Discover Pass. Saw a lot of TP left near trailhead from people not packing out which is always upsetting. The hike itself was gorgeous and not crowded!

Was snow covered which made hike very difficult. Beautiful once we made it.

A pretty trail that leads into plenty of other trails for miles of hiking. There are signs at every intersection to let you know what trails are cris-crossing. The only concerns I have are that the sign that shows where all of the trails are isn't at the trailhead, it's a little ways away over some rocks. Also the trails aren't super well maintained, but it's not horrible. There are no signs or anything along the way (besides at intersections) to let you know where you are going or give you information...

This was such a cute little hike to the lake. We made the mistake though, of going mid-day and it was very very hot! The saving grace was that you skirt the creek and can get cool periodically. Once we got to the lake, it was serene and calm. There was flat land and someone had made a fire pit. You could easily camp there. You'd have to backpack I'm. There is also a horse camp up that way, so be prepared to see horse manure on...

Beautiful area! Its a short walk to Blue Lake, or you can cross the creek and continue up to Sheep Canyon. Someone has graciously built a little foot bridge over Coldsprings Creek. The trail up to Sheep Canyon is covered in snow just before the junction to trail# 237. The road up to the trailhead is rough, but I made it in my car and didn't bottom out once....
