This venue is absolutely beautiful and incredible. It has the makings for a PERFECT wedding, but unfortunately my best friend didn’t get to live out the full potential of her dream day. Her wedding was 2/24/22. We came in for the rehearsal the night before and the house was FREEZING. We were assured it would be heated the next day. When we arrived at noon on the big day- it was still absolutely freezing inside. No exaggeration. Like 40 degrees. The heat had gone out apparently. Things happen. I understand. But what bugs me is this- the staff didn’t arrive until the same time we did to get ready (at noon.) so were they not planning on turning on the heat and warming the place prior to our arrival? They knew it was cold and they knew our wedding party was filled with very young babies. So they didn’t notice the issue until it was too late. -they had no back up plan. I asked about space heaters and they told me there was nothing they could do and they were hoping it would be fixed soon (it never got fixed by the way.) they eventually went and bought a few space heaters towards the ceremony time, but we had to get ready in the cold and keep the babies warm and ultimately there wasn’t enough time left to warm anything to a reasonable temperature. -part of the appeal of the venue is the amenities and ease. The groom and some groomsmen had planned on showering there since there are so many spaces to do so- but the water was ice cold and they either had to drive back to the closest house to shower or shower in ice water (which is what they did.) the bridesmaids had cute satin PJs and robes to get ready in and we didn’t even get to use them. Not the worst problem in the world, but I didn’t exactly have the best time getting ready in winter coats.
I just don’t understand why they waited until noon to enter the building and turn the heat on. Had they arrived earlier they would have been able to contact us so we would have known to have the boys shower before and we could have been prepared to keep the babies warm. And on top of that they were rude when we tried to problem solve and address the issue. They didn’t even apologize to the bride until an hour before her wedding.
Our kiddos ranged from 2 months to 2.5 years and they were crying, cold and miserable. One of the flower girls was sobbing right before because she just wanted her coat. The ceremony photos are going to be ruined with mismatched baby blankets and hats because we didn’t have a choice to keep them warm during the ceremony. Definitely not the photos the couple wanted since they paid for matching outfits for all their nieces and nephews.
Also- they still had not finished the bathrooms in the barn, so they were sending guests across to the house to use the restroom during the reception. It was 4 degrees. People shouldn’t have to go outside in the cold to pee. Part of the decision to book the venue was the convenience of the amenities in the two separate locations. Nothing was suppose to be difficult or cause any additional stress. Many guests left early because the cold was too much and it was totally unreasonable to go outdoors and walk across to use the restroom. I really feel like they dropped the ball here. It should have been an incredible time, but the bride and groom spent their entire day feeling bad for family and guests. The staff mentioned that their wedding was the only wedding in February, and they definitely acted like it was low priority. I’m sure this was a once in a lifetime experiences, but the way they handled it was a very poor reflection of...

We received a call from Flying Horse Ranch to come service their needs. We provided them with services at the agreed price and after our work was completed they decided to tag team us on both our google & our facebook site. The reviews from google are below. We have a great team of people that work here that work very hard to make sure all of our customers are being treated well. How they treated us is simply unprofessional and unfair. Had we realized they would have treated us this way after the services were completed we would not have serviced their needs. There are more professional ways of dealing with disputes than the way they handled it.
The reviews they posted on our Google site;
Megan Riviezzo 5 days ago They charged me $2200 for a toilet install. I called a number of other plumbers in town to get a bid after I felt I was unfairly charged, and the next highest bid from other plumbers in the area was $700. When I called to get some clarification on the invoice I was told to talk to the installer. I did, and he told me he wanted to be honest and felt bad quoting my team that high, but he doesn't set the pricing. He also let me know he had the receipt for the toilet which was $400, when I called their office to ask them about the addition $1800 I paid I was told "they don't claim to be the cheapest, and the don't have access to an invoice to give me specific line item costs." I of course understand you get what you pay for, but 3X the amount is absolute robbery.
Patriot Pros Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric (owner) 2 hours ago Hello Megan,
We are confused by your review. We did everything exactly as you asked us to, for said price. We treated you like we treat all of our customers. We sent out a licensed technician, assessed the situation, did a thorough evaluation, provided you with options along with repairs, and you chose what option you wanted. After the work was completed, it became an issue about pricing.
Again, we are sorry our pricing was not to your liking. If there are any concerns about the installation or warranty, we are here to respond to your needs. For future service needs, please be sure to make up your mind before you authorize us to do anything.

I still get gushing compliments from guests two and three years after that this was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve ever been to. My husband and I moved to Colorado a few years ago and wanted to wow our out of state guests, overseas guests, since my husband is a Brit, and local friends with a beautiful venue that had incredible views of the mountains, could dance under the stars and have fun in an elegant barn where we felt like we were the only people around for miles. Our amazing wedding planner found this venue for us after we had issues rebooking with our original venue due to Covid. It was exactly what we wanted- very elegant and very romantic. I can’t say enough about how flexible and how kind Flying Horse is. We got married here twice since we originally had a small elopement in August 2020. Originally we were going to have the ceremony outdoors, but It hailed a ton on our wedding day so we got married in the barn which was beautiful. In 2021 we had the outdoor wedding that we wanted which was incredible too! We had dinner in the ballroom which was so elegant. Our guests enjoyed the pre- dinner reception on the veranda and in the horse driven wagon. That was unique and a hit!Having experienced the outdoors, ballroom, and barn you can’t go wrong with any of them. They are all spectacular in their own way.The glam room for the ladies was amazing!! It was so much fun for everyone to get ready. I wish I could replicate it at home.The guys enjoyed their man cave.Everyone that we worked with was fantastic and so easy to work with. Even though this is a business they didn’t try to nickel and dime us like our original venue did. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone planning a dream wedding. Flying Horse Ranch was a...
