Providence Vineyard — Attraction in Woodstock

This review seems long overdue, but I needed time to collect my thoughts and get my photos back so I could post about my perfect experience with Providence Vineyard. I got married October 1st, 2022 and it was/ is the most stunning venue I have ever been to!

To start, I am a vendor in the wedding industry and have been and worked at MANY venues. I can say without a doubt, Providence Vineyard, is the most amazing and best venue that I have ever been to. From the moment I walked into Providence, I was overcome by how beautiful and grand it was. I knew it was going to be the place I got married. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and just what my husband and I were looking for. We loved that it was a blank canvas and could be anything you wanted it to be. We wanted to feel like we were swept away to Tuscany, and it truly felt like that when you looked into the vineyard. We even had guests tell us that people asked if we got married in Napa or Italy, based on the photos!

I knew the venue was going to be a place unlike any that my friends and family had ever experienced before. What I was not prepared for was how incredible the staff was. They provide you with everything you can need upfront! Their brochures were extremely helpful and all of their preferred vendors were incredible. They seriously know who works best at the venue and put so much care into making your day as perfect as it can possibly be.

Kelly is an amazing owner and is truly the kindest soul. She communicated with us and answered all of our booking questions. Booking in 2020 was scary but Kelly’s confidence and professionalism is unmatched. She was kind, patient and worked with my, my husband, and the parents!

Shaylee was absolutely wonderful and gave us the tour in October 2020. She was also our day-of-coordinator at our wedding but she was there with us from day one. She was my rock at times and helped with anything we needed. My husband and I tried to make every open house planning day we could, and Shaylee was always there to welcome us. I loved that she was excited WITH us! She makes you feel so special and excited for this extremely important chapter in your life. We found ourselves so comfortable with her and felt like she was a friend at our wedding. I remember walking back up the aisle after getting married and chatting with her just made the moment even better! I am so honored to have had Shaylee with us on our wedding day. I can not stress this enough- have Shaylee as your planner because you will not regret having her as part of your wedding experience.

Providence… where do we begin! I was following this venue since before they even opened! Watching their floor plans on Instagram, and waiting for their dream opening day to come true while I was waiting for mine, in hopes of getting married there someday! Fast forward to two years later, engaged, and we met with Kelly and Shaylee. WOW were we impressed ! The venue is immaculate! From the reception hall, to the balcony, the bride/groom suites, just simply breathtaking ! They have a strong family team (which we loved, every vendor hired was an entrepreneur, they care about you as a person), organized, the vineyard is stunning, & all white everything! Every little girls dream! We booked immediately ! From the time of booking until wedding day, Kelly and Shaylee made the process incredibly easy. I heard wedding planning was stressful…. Not here ! They provided a list of amazing vendors, and on-site staff to make your planning as simple as possible. Brides can be needy, I can honestly say, any time I sent an e-mail, I had a response from the owner Kelly or Shaylee in less than 24 hours! And I thank you for that!! Everything the venue offered was delivered as promised! We waited two years to get married there because of covid, and I am so grateful we did! If want your dream wedding with a country touch, I highly recommended Providence! & Brides, I know you may have someone in mind, cheaper, family friend…. but I highly recommended if you choose this venue, you hire Shaylee as your day of/ month of coordinator ! My husband and I can not say enough things about how truly amazing she is! Shaylee made our day PERFECT! Without her, I truly believe that it would not have gone as smooth as it did! From beginning to end, she was so detailed and thorough contacting all our vendors making sure everyone was on the same page ! She jumped in on email threads when there was discrepancies, & as a full time nurse, she truly saved the day for me! My husband said, “anywhere I turned, she was right there if we needed her.” I agree :) Shaylee, you are a true angel from heaven, and we are eternally grateful we had you through the last month of planning ! Ladies, brides, party people, do not miss your opportunity to book with providence if you want a stunning venue with a vineyard backdrop, and if you want your event to go perfectly, do not miss your opportunity of working with Shaylee ! My Sister and her Husband originally booked providence vineyard prior to it ever being built! They were sold on it simply from location, a great sales pitch, and Kelly graciously and thoroughly walking them through the blue-prints of what would be!

They were originally booked for 10.3.20, but of course had to postpone due to COVID. Despite them still getting married on their original date, we just celebrated their vow-renewal and 1 year wedding anniversary with a big celebration that they always deserved, this past weekend.

The venue is absolutely stunning and kept pristine. Between the outdoor elements of the oak tree and arbor to the indoor flooring, white-washed walls, stunning crystal chandeliers and bride + groom's suite - there's just beauty around every corner.

As a wedding planner myself, I did the majority of my Sister's wedding planner, but was convinced by my Mom and Sister that we hire Shaylee, our month-of-coordinator through the venue, so that I could fully relax, enjoy, and act as MOH on the day-of. This was the BEST decision. Shaylee could not have been sweeter and helped ensure all of our vendors knew exactly where they needed to be and when, and that the day and evening ran super smoothly. She was such a sweet and calming presence and I recognize the hard work that she puts into every event there!

Providence Vineyard makes things super easy with an online planner and information guide so you have literally all of the planning tools at your finger tip throughout the planning process. Add on Shaylee for complete success on the wedding day itself! :)
