My husband and I recently stopped by the arboretum/park to kill some time at the end of a travel day. It was nice, and there were some pretty flowers and plants, but I guess, based on the reviews, I thought it would be nicer. Directly across the parking lot, there's a large field of echinacea, hydrangeas, and lots of weeding that needed to be done. I thought, "This place got high rankings. This is it?" Then as we walked near the building, we saw a sign giving some more details and a map. The building on the grounds was open, but no-one was there, that we could see.
