The Connection. Conference & Event Center — Attraction in Wooster

Wooster is so blessed to have The Connection here. My fiancé and I (at the time) started looking for a wedding venue that wasn't a barn, and happened to see that there was a brand new conference center built recently built in Wooster. We met Tammy and The Connection team for a tour, and were absolutely blown away at how beautiful it was! We booked it on the spot, and we are SO glad we did.

The venue is unbelievably beautiful. Big windows over looking the golf course with beautiful sunset views. A see through fireplace when you walk through the front door (and other bonus fireplace on the other side). Two outdoor patios. I'm going to guess here... 25' high ceiling in the atrium with stunning trusses and skylights. Access to the board room and smaller conference room. A full kitchen for your caterers. Built in lighting with color selection in the evening (we went with blue). Gorgeous moldings and trim. Removable walls. Every detail was so well thought out when this building was planned and constructed. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the facility was.

Tammy is an incredibly wonderful person to work with. She loves details as much as I do, which is SO IMPORTANT for your wedding! I met with her many times before our wedding to go through planning progress and updates. We were able to set up the day before, which was so helpful. My husband and I even snuck over the week of to practice our first dance.

Tammy and The Connection could not have been more accommodating. She coordinated everything the day of at The Connection. She had copies of timelines and contracts, and covered every detail with our vendors. Tammy is simply the best! We had a wonderful wedding and I'm so grateful The Connection and Tammy are now forever part of our wedding story.

Although this was a beautiful venue there were way too many stipulations throughout the night that were issues with the venue that we didn’t think would be issues before booking.

Also very uncomfortable dancing on the dance floor when your being watched like a hawk. Be prepared to be watched all day as well to make sure your following rules.

The DJ was also told multiple times to turn the music down and to not play certain songs.

For the mother and son dance they had a bubble machine that they could see was being set up and once it was on for 5 seconds it was rudely unplugged and we were scolded for having it when we had asked previously if we could have bubbles.
