My family enjoys this playground/park. There is a fenced in play area for younger kids with things to climb on and swings. Some picnic benches are there as well. Then there is an area for older kids. You will find monkey bars, slides, a little tunnel and some swings. Both play areas have a soft ground cover so if your kid falls, then they should not get (too) injured. There are a few pavilions with picnic benchs underneath. The bathrooms are in its own structure and are nicely kept. There is a gravel walking/running path with options to walk through sections of the woods. Lastly, there is a pond (?) and if you are lucky enough, then you will see fish, mallards and Canada geese. There is a waterfall that flows into a creek area that is shallow enough to walk in (ankle deep on an adult). It truly is a fun area and with the playgrounds, trails, and water, you can easily spend...

The outer loop trail is about a mile, with interconnected smaller loops in between. The park is always well maintained, but it is not shoveled in the winter so plan accordingly if it snows/ices. Around the holidays there are lights on the trees and figures lit up throughout the park. The creek is great for supervised kids in the summer, and you can fish here. There's a gravel path as well as a paved path, and woodland trails mixed in as well. There are two small playgrounds with slides and swings, next to two large pavilions. There's another large pavilion by the creek. There's also a...
Read moreA favourite of our family with broad appeal to all ages. The creek is beautiful with lots of places to fish for fun or go wading. It does get crowded with summer camps but usually emptied in the afternoons. there is a fishing dock near the deeper area. Kids love playing in the shallower areas below the dam. My one complaint is that the bathroom is right next to the parking lot and there are no other rest stops on the trails or near the farther playground, so be aware if you have little ones and you are down by the creek, it's a hike up the hill for bathroom breaks with very little shade, so in summer come prepared with sunscreen and a hat if you're heat...
