Blackstone River Bikeway Parking — Attraction in Worcester

I visited at 630pm to get in a quick walk before dark. There was so much trash, shopping carts and at least 3 encampments close to the trail and it did not feel safe. The trash had been collected mostly into piles indicating people are trying to keep this great trail clean and usable. It is a great trial: wide, accessible, lots of parking, historical and looooong. Interesting trail. One may, at times, feel as if they are cycling in the woods, and then in an instant the sound and view of major traffic ways spawn, and then there are indications of real creepiness with odd signs stating that "No souls should pass beyond this fence or harm will come to your health" Seriously, creepy ride with my son today. Completely disappointed, I haven’t been here in so long I remember walking in this trail with my family when my boys were younger and this place was awesome. Now not so much the trail looks pretty run down as you enter all you smell is urine and bugs everywhere.
