Beauty and serenity can be found here, and it is hardly more than an hour or so away from any given area in the LA metro area. On top of that, it has stocked with trout multiple times as early summer fishing is here (May/June weekly releases per the publically accessible lake stocking data released by the CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife). This is as easily accessible and as peaceful a place there is that is close by that can enable bass fishermen like myself to get a little feel for mountain trout fishing, so it is much appreciated.
