Came to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. My boys were thirsty, so I went to order two pitchers. The woman was obviously busy and stressed. She was really short with me and told me she was closing the kitchen. I understood. It's hard to keep up with big parties. Later, my three boys were begging for another drink and some nachos. I looked over and saw the closed sign gone. I told them that when they saw the woman back at the cash register, we would order, but that she had become busy and needed to close for a bit. After a while, my youngest excitedly pointed out that she was at the register ringing someone up. I went up to refill our pitches and order the boys nachos. We were there for quite a while. She would walk past and look me right in the eye, but not say anything. At that point someone walked up behind me. She came out and asked the person behind me if they needed anything. The woman looked at me confused before saying they needed boxes. I realized that she must be with the party that the woman behind the counter had been making food for. At that point the woman behind the counter poitedly looked at me again and then turned and walked away. My 6year old looked up at me and asked what was going on. At that point I saw that the closed sign had been bumped at some point and had turned away from the bowling alley so you couldn't see it. I was so embarrassed. I turned the sign back out so that it was obvious. My 6 year old sat in my lap and cried for a while and I wanted to cry with him. I've never been treated so badly at an establishment before. She went out of her way to snub me and made sure that I knew it. All she had to do was say they were still closed. I would...
Read moreThe "acting manager" Jason, made a broad statement that my "squeaking" of my right shoe during my set up was a disturbance to the masses, and dont come back(Brunswick USBC shoes, SRS) The owner, Alan, actually went as far as stating he would buy me new shoes!!!!! until he found out comparable shoes with a less gummy sole were 175$!!! He then solicited the shop pro, to "work with me" on changing MY setup...... Absolutely absurd, the owner cow towed to a small minority(6) and THEN expected me to cow tow to a small minority(HIS establishment) , actually asking ME to change the way I get my mental game in order to place a shot. This all happened the night I bowled a 290!!! Totally rude counter staff(Jason) and owner of this family business manages by the whims of a select few league bowlers who complain their way into whatever they want from the owner. What about the noise, smoking(smoke eaters dont work), the porno playing cards out when kids are around, the leaguers blocking any route to the lounge and giving rude stares at "how dare you ask me to pass" attitudes. Goto Taylor Lanes or Thunderbowl, both very nice, and plenty of lanes to choose from. My first impression of this center was favorable, it soured quickly. Myself, and my kids, wife, her kids, will...
