Such an easy trail for great views! Although the first time I came it was open to climb up on the platform of the lookout tower. This year when I visited it was locked. Bummer but still get the same great views ! It’s also never busy. I would park at the bottom of the hill and walk the extra length if the roads are in bad condition ( rough dirt road ) otherwise you are perfectly fine to drive up to the top

Nice hike to the fire lookout building. Building and it’s porch we’re closed due to structural issues, but you can walk around on the granite area Ocker to get views. Path is not accessible and includes several flights of stairs to reach the top. Beautiful views!

Amazing lookout. It's a 15 minute hike (or so the sign says, although we did it in about half the time). Bring a camera and binoculars. Beautiful sights.

My 84 year old father made the hike up to the lookout! We took our time and stopped to catch our breath a few times. If you're at all afraid of heights, don't go up. There are no railings up the steps or at the top, but...
