Sacred Rim Trailhead — Attraction in Wyoming

Absolutely amazing hike at Sacred Rim Trailhead. Plenty of free parking available. Vault toilets at the parking lot, too. Google maps will take you to Pole Creek Trailhead. This is where you start.

Pack in & pack out. This is about 3.5 miles round trip, so plan accordingly for food, water, extra clothing, bear spray, etc. The trail is well maintained but I would call it moderate. The Sacred Rim Trail leads hikers out to one of the best viewpoints in the Wind River Range. The hike begins from Trails End Campground, where parking and bathroom facilities are available. I recorded the hike as 3.8-miles out and back. It's an early and unmarked turnoff from Pole Creek Trail onto Sacred Rim Trail, which can be easy to miss, so keep an eye on the map. Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. This place is amazing! I would come back to here again in the future. Like everyone suggested on here, bring your bugs spray, lunch and snacks. Go spent your time at least 1 hour on this place to admire how amazing the view! Take time to reset your mind, and just sit and relax. Bring plenty of water. Hiking boots is a must because you’ll have up and down trail. Just love this place, and I think this place much better than Jenny Lake....
