Great area for hiking, camping, fishing and picnic. You can park your car in many designated spots, some for day use and some for overnight use, and use the vault toilets. The explanatory signs and maps will guide you in case you haven't done it in advance. Trails are well-maintained and you have a variety of uses, from riding your horse to backcountry camping, being hiking Cloud Peak one of the most challenging activities you can do. It's clearly a very heavily trafficked trail and I probably wouldn't do it again for that reason alone. It wasn't even very busy when I was there but 9/10 people I came across were annoying or otherwise inconsiderate to each other, wildlife, and the wilderness in general. Might be better in the mid to late fall, snow permitting. Only saw 1 moose and some grouse but I went middle of the day. Gorgeous lakes at the top at least.

Facilities clean. Just so many people. The trail had so many people as well. And you have to cross a creek to get going so bring different shoes. Also take your time.
