Staff was friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I’m new to growing in the PNW & staff was able to provide insight on plants that would thrive through the year. The selection was a little slim, but it’s also late in the season so that is to be expected. Prices are a bit cheaper compared to greenhouses closer to the metro & they offer (as in I didn’t even ask, they asked me) a military discount. I’ve been to a few greenhouses in the area & have found the condition of plants at Jason’s to be superior. I’ll attach a few pictures of plants I’ve purchased at Jason’s vs another local larger greenhouse. The first picture is of rosemary. Jason’s on the right, competitor on the left. The plant from Jason’s has a healthier color, bushier growth, & a better taste (competitor is a quite bitter). If you notice, the plant was also $2 cheaper & from the same initial source. Assuming the differences are due to type &/or lack of fertilizer. Next picture is vinca. Jason’s on the right, competitor on the left. Same initial source & also $2 cheaper from Jason’s. Jason’s plant is denser, lusher (more growth points), & longer trailing. The competition does have a couple blooms, but that probably comes down to the difference of the fertilizer used. I grow vinca for trailing foliage, so I couldn’t care less about the blooms. Overall, Jason’s will be my primary go to (especially in the spring/early summer) for my gardening needs. I will venture out to other greenhouses for a larger variety, but I do not see that happening often. I also have an inkling that if I wanted something specific Jason’s would have no issue ordering it for me during busy season.

We've only been here a few times but this has become one of our go to places for our gardening projects. The staff seem very knowledgeable and we usually leave with a few new gardening tips. Just left with a huge cart of perennials at a very reasonable price.

Great place. Great experience mostly. Charlene offered us amazing customer service and helped us check out a very large number of items during a busy time. If you read nothing else, Jasons Greenhouse is great and Charlene was wonderful and provided a great experience for us.

One part of our experience was not positive. When we first arrived we had to wait for a car in the parking lot to pull out before we could pass. As we did, another employee, Melinda, sat behind us in a golf cart and yelled her frustration that she had to wait for this car, and ours, to pull out. Once able to get by, she sped by at entirely unsafe speeds.

We encountered Melinda again while looking at trees. When asking for assistance she seemed annoyed and impatiently responded before storming off.

We encountered Melinda for a third, and final, time at checkout. We were purchasing a whisky barrel that had a $39 sticker on it. Charlene saw it, I had not, and told us she did not think it was right and wanted to ask - to help ensure I had a great customer experience. Charlene was great. When she came back she let me know it was actually 100$ and 50% off, so the final price would actually be $50. As she was explaining, I was not too concerned about the extra 10$ and had planned to make the purchase anyway, thankful for Charlene helping us rather than just not mentioning it. That is when Melinda showed up again, seemingly irritated that she felt like she had to stop, and asked Charlene if she needed help. The question was condescending in tone and honestly quite rude. Before Charlene could even finish explaining, after I had already agreed to the $50 with out concern, Melinda said "No! That is NOT the marked price because that sticker is NOT a Jason's sticker! We already talked about this! Do you need me to get you new stickers? It is a 100$ barrel!" She did not look at us the whole time and just berated poor Charlene before storming off to go fix the stickers on the other barrels. All were incorrectly marked and it seemed more like it was Melindas fault and Charlene was just trying to provide great service.

I ended up not purchasing the barrels when I would have done so, even after the price, because I didn't even see the price to start. It was a non issue to me. Just liked the product. But Melinda's intervention caused me to put them back. She, and she alone, was a negative cloud over an otherwise amazing trip to Jason's Greenhouse.

I hope whoever reads this commends Charlene for her amazing customer service, during a very busy time, with a lot of plants to check out, with a big line, and tons of chaos. Even when berated by another employee on top of all of that - she did an amazing job and should be commended for it. Thank...
