Ritidian is truly one of Guam’s hidden gems breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well-preserved. I was deeply impressed by how well the area is maintained; it’s clear that a lot of care goes into protecting its natural charm. The mangroves and Greenbrier trails were especially memorable... full of life, with vibrant flora and a variety of fauna that make the place feel untouched and magical.
However, during my mom and I's visit, I did notice some small bits of trash... plastic wrappers and bottle caps... carelessly left behind. It seems some visitors assume that small plastics won’t be noticed or cause harm. But they’re mistaken. Nature has a way of unearthing even the smallest debris, and over time, it becomes part of the problem. It’s heartbreaking to see.
I also saw a few tourists collecting shells. While it's tempting to take a piece of Ritidian home, it’s far better to simply appreciate its beauty in the moment. Take only memories, leave only footprints. The more we respect and protect this incredible place, the more it will continue to thrive for...
Read moreOh man what a beautiful beach!!! We had family in town and I have been wanting to visit here for a year and a half so yesterday we went. The drive is very long and do not take a nice car here because the road is full of pot holes and bumps and dips. We could only drive abut 10MPH but saw many other people driving around 30 MPH. We got through the road and to the refuge. A tiny treck thru the brush will lead you through to the beach after parking in a grassy small lot. We changed in the port a potty one word EWWWW!!!! They def do not empty this on a regul ar bases. I have lived on Guam fr 1.5 years and this beach is a top 3 that you dont have to hike to get to. This...

Arguably one of the best beaches on the island of Guam. The gorgeous white sand and the beautfiul ocean is really a sight to see. Its a bit too shallow for snorkeling, but people do it. Bring water shoes to avoid stepping onthe rocks that are in the water. Also, bring sunscreen. The sun is no joke there as there is very little shade.
The hiking/walking trail through the woods is absolutely stunning. You get to see a lot of the old Guam herritage from smalls caves to the early writtings. We saw a surplus of...
