Campsite: They pack all the campsites pretty close to each other. The sites however are clean. It was a lot cleaner last year in September 29, 2017. Some site has shades. Dogs are allowed at the site. The sites are all located near the lake. Clean Water: There is water available at the site. Restroom They have portable potties but if you go to the showers, they have clean restroom with flushable water. The showers do have hot water. It takes awhile for the water to get hot. Insects: Suprisingly, there are not many mosquitos here. There are a lot of small flying insects and a couple bees. There is a bee farm outside the campsite. I didn't see any wasp when I was here. Crowd: There seems too not be too many campers in September. The other side of the lake seems to be the more popular spot. Activities: You can boat, swim & fish here. Shopping: There is a store near the dock. Price at the store is reasonable and not overpriced. Not much else around in the area. Amentites: Shower requires quarters. The water is hot. They have flushable toilet near the showers. There are portable potties near the camp sites. Cellular Service: Verizon seems to be the best provider that can get a signal in the area. Most of the area has dead spots. As of 09/14/2018, T-Mobile now has signal here.

Checked in at 3pm and heard a group playing very loud music. The campgrounds were very close together with no privacy whatsoever. The music continued without interruption until past the 10 pm quiet hours. I had to flag down one of the security officers and ask about their music. 1005 and the music is still very loud. I wanted to go camping but it felt more like sleeping in my car in the ghetto near some hobos with a trash can fire to stay warm. I'm never coming back here again even if I live to be thousands of years old. Around 1012 my friend told them that we have a few young kids that we just put to bed and they finally turned it down which was nice. It would be a very nice rule to match other campgrounds and prohibit amplified music. The lake is really nice, gorgeous blue water and lots of room. Highly recommend the lake, just not this campground. Oh there goes a car alarm... 26 beeps until they shut it off... Yelling and hollering, other camps music... Hopefully the drunks pass out soon. Next morning the kids were trying to wash their hands after using the bathroom but had to wait behind a group washing their dishes in the sinks.

I stayed Labor Day weekend with my husband and 3 young kids. We are from Napa, so we’ve seen lots of good sites… but Pleasure Cove will now be our go to! We stayed in a cabin that was just beautiful! The customer service was outstanding! They have a number that you can text and respond so quickly; eager to help. We were fortunate enough to get a cabin right on the water which was nice since we don’t have a boat. We just put up a splash pad up and the kids had a blast! The cabin is very roomy. We were able to have some family come up one day and barbecued. There was a table inside which was nice. And they had the AC running when we got there. It was 100 degrees so that was super thoughtful. The people in the store are just super sweet and welcoming… it felt like home away from home. This will forever be a core memory for my family and I. We will be booking our cabin for next year ASAP! Thank you Pleasure Cove. Attached is a picture of the view from our cabin… just beautiful. And a couple other pictures displaying just how wonderful the view is.

Should be named DISPLEASURE Cove Marina. Decided to give this place a try and celebrate my birthday here on July 1st, 2023 but boy do I REGRET it. My entire party arrived to the dock prior to 12pm and checked in at the store. However, I arrived to the office on the side of the road at 12:03pm to check-in. The check-in took longer than expected because the staff in the office was saying they didn’t see that I signed a waiver on their end but I had already signed the waiver the night before and showed them proof on my phone. After showing them proof, they confirmed that I did sign the waiver so we made our way to the dock. We did not see any employees on the dock so took it upon ourselves to enter through the gate where we waited on the dock for a good 30+ minutes for someone to direct us to our boat. Once we were finally given our life jackets and sat in our boat, we waited for someone to come train us on safety. No one came. So then we took it upon ourselves to go inside the little office where I asked an employee by the name of Traci when and where the training would begin. She then rudely said back on the boat so then we went back and sat inside the boat. Once we sat inside the boat and Traci started her training, she then rudely mentioned to one my guests why she was looking at Traci. My guest then answered, she's looking at Traci because Traci is the one doing the training. Mind you, my guests were already irritated due to the long waiting time and Traci's tone towards us during the training. At no point, should any service provider be making any comments about any customer's facial expressions. Traci wrapped up training at about 1pm and we mentioned to her that we are literally leaving an hour after our reservation leave us 5 hours on the boat versus the 6 hours we paid for and if we could bring back the boat later due to this. Traci rudely replied no blaming our "tardiness" when we were the ones waiting on the dock for 30+ minutes for somebody/anybody to direct us to our boat.

Lastly, I reviewed my credit card statement and saw an additional UNAUTHORIZED charge for $110.78. Beware of this place, customer service is UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRESPONSIVE plus they do not give you the full time...

4th of July weekend 2022:

We rented the Monticello for the holiday. Great experience. The crew at Pleasure Cove will give you a full safety briefing and pilot you out of the harbor. They will do their best to help you with anything you need for a safe and fun journey. Once at the channel entrance, you have the lake. You will be the largest vessel out there. The Monticello houseboat has a full kitchen with all cooking utensils and a large salon. There is also a BBQ on the bow. Sleeping quarters are comfortable and cozy. There is a hot tub and wet bar on the bridge as well. There is a water slide off the upper deck to the stern that the kids had a great time with. Houseboat has twin outboards and maneuvers well if you plan your course changes ahead. I was surprised she handled quite well in the tight surroundings of the inlet that we chose. There is a GPS on the lower helm so you can find a good spot. We took our party to a quiet and private cove and beached with the bow facing NW. This made for a nice breeze for to aft so we did not really need to use the central air conditioning. Another really nice thing about the Monticello is that being 70 ft., we were able to tie off two ski boats. One on each side. Also, the stern was far enough out in the lagoon when beached that the swimming experience is good and in clear water. Also provides a great fishing platform around dawn and dusk. At the end of the journey we came back to the harbor entrance and they came out to pilot us back to dockside. We had a great time and will do this...

Cautious for ALL NIGHT loud parties with absolutely no quiet hour enforcement!

We visited the last weekend of September, Friday to Sunday. Friday night, a group of camper partied with loud music, singing, yelling, dancing until 5AM Saturday. No matter where you are at on the camp ground, you can hear them. It was impossible for fall asleep. Then, comes Saturday night, the same camper group started parting at 10pm at night, and continued until 3AM Sunday morning. They were intentionally loud, again with speaker blasting music, everyone singing and laughing way past midnight. I say intentionally, because they very well know what they are doing. To the point we had to call the Police. That’s when we were informed by the policy the camp ground had lay off the security and quiet hour enforcement after Labor Day, and it was not the first time someone called the police.

Make your decision to visit this place wisely. You may not be as unlucky as us and visit there with a horrible and extremely inconsiderate with intention group of human beings , but just know that if you do, this camp ground can not do anything to better your situation. You will end up leaving a supposed-to-be-enlightened-and-rested camping trip feeling completely exhausted, and wish you had just stayed home or did anything else other than this.

Then the camp ground - small sites, dusty. We had 8 people booked two sites. We were there for the lake, the boat rental experience was great. We had a blast on the lake, but would not stay at this camp...
