It was our first time at this beach - but certainly not the last! What gem just 1 hour drive from Chicago suburbs! Water so clean and warm, super fun and safe for kids to play. Beach very nice and clean. Plenty of parking space right by beach! Only issue for me were the toilets - unfortunately not very clean and pleasant to use. And lack of running water anywhere around was a downside but manageable. Foot rinse would be an awesome option! But overall very pretty place.

We enjoyed our visit. Nice beach and not many people on a week day. There are not many public restrooms. Nice bike trails. We did not see the whole park and will be...
