Good place to take the kiddos (8 and 10 year olds) during an early heat dome experience in June 🥵. Looked busy because there was a T-ball tournament or similar going on, but the splash pad and playground across from it was not too busy. Some shaded areas with picnic tables and benches, but not too much or not a lot of shade.

My 16 month old loved it! The splash pad is great and it connects to a man made rocky creek kids can play in. Add the proximity to a playground, restrooms, and picnic tables, and it is an excellent park for kids...
