The forest park is very huge and there is a big water reservoir on the boarder between Texas and Louisiana. Both the forest and the reservoir have beautiful scenes and adventure routes. The forest has a 25 miles hiking trail and it is a beautiful jungle. There are diversified lives including: trees, shrubs, mushrooms, grasses, spiders, birds and more. There are paved and unpaved roads for more advantures in the forest. There are maps and emergency phone numbers everywhere in the jungles. Read moreI missed my turn because of the view that I ended up in Lousiana! My luck to go during the weekend before a holiday so I did not quite get the experience I was hoping for. However I did venture to the Indian Mounds Recreation Area. Quiet campground. People were fairly nice and kept to their grounds. I shared a sandwich or two with two beautiful dogs which was the highlight of my trip. The view was spectacular!
