A treasure by the sea and river. Montevideo is beautiful with a very liveable pace of life. I spent most of my time in the central area and enjoyed myself very much. As with any city, there are some gritty areas but I never felt unsafe.

Me encantaron las letras en la fortaleza! Una belleza! Me gusta por que te permite sacarte una foto con el paisaje de todo montevideo! Es representativa de montevideo, es una postal! A diferencia del cartel ubicado en los pocitos que son duda muestra otra postal de montevideo y es la playa de los pocitos. En fin, es una idea genial! Felicitaciones al municipio que lo llevo a cabo.

La vista desde allí es muy bonita. Vale la pena si vas a conocer la Fortaleza también. No recomendamos quedarse mucho tiempo, sobretodo si hay pocos turistas dado que la zona no es muy segura (dicho por el propio militar que nos atendió en la Fortaleza) Si no te animas ir por tu cuenta, te recomendamos hacerlo con el Bus Turístico de la ciudad.
